Who We Are

BMT Publishing LLC is an independent publishing house based in Terrell, Texas, operated by Devona M. Thomas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through bmt-publishing.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few limited ways:

• Email signups. When you subscribe to our newsletter or sign up to be notified about an upcoming release, we collect your email address through our website's signup forms.
• Contact form submissions. If you reach out through our Contact page, we collect whatever information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message.
• Purchases. When you buy an ebook or digital product, checkout is handled entirely by Payhip, a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your credit card number. Payhip collects your name, email, and payment details directly in order to process your order and deliver your download. Their handling of that information is governed by Payhip's own privacy policy.
• Print book purchases. Paperback and print orders are fulfilled entirely through Amazon. When you click "Buy on Amazon," you leave our site and your purchase, shipping information, and payment are handled directly by Amazon under their own privacy policy. We never see or receive that information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only to:

• Send you updates about new releases, journals, and podcast episodes if you've subscribed to our newsletter
• Notify you when a specific upcoming book launches, if you've requested that notification
• Respond to questions or messages submitted through our Contact page
• Improve our website and understand which pages and books visitors are interested in

Email Signups & Form Submissions

Our newsletter and "notify me" signup forms are processed using Netlify Forms, a service provided by our website host. Submissions are stored securely in our Netlify account, where only Devona M. Thomas has access. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email at any time by contacting buelaspen@gmail.com.

Third-Party Services

Our site links out to and relies on the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy practices:

• Payhip — digital checkout and ebook delivery
• Amazon — print book sales and fulfillment
• Netlify — website hosting and form submissions
• Spotify — embedded podcast player on our Podcast page

We encourage you to review each provider's own privacy policy, since we do not control how they handle data once you interact with their service.

Cookies

Our website itself does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Embedded content from Spotify (on our Podcast page) may set its own cookies in accordance with Spotify's policies, which are outside of our control.

Children's Privacy

Some of our books, including the Kai & JuJu series, are written for children — but our website and email signups are intended for adults (parents, educators, and readers) making purchases or requesting updates. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, request that we delete your contact or email information, or ask what information we have on file by emailing buelaspen@gmail.com. Because BMT Publishing LLC is a small, one-person operation, requests are handled personally by Devona and you can expect a response directly from her.
